We headed into stellenbosch with high expectations after speaking to many south african travellers in Namibia and Botswana. Everyone reckoned thath this was the place to be on new years eve, rather than the usually over crowded cape town. We zijn weer vroeg uit de veren en ontbijten vandaag buiten het hotel. Op nog geen 100 meter van het hotel zit een piepklein tentje waar we lekker buiten kunnen zitten. Yoghurt met muesli en een aardig schaaltje heerlijk vers fruit. Het smaakt erg goed en we besluiten meteen hier morgen weer te ontbijten. We rijden met de bus over een mooie weg naar Hont Baai, waar we om 07:40 al weer van het uitzicht staan te genieten. Ik moet wel zorgen dat ik zo veel mogelijk uit de zon blijf vandaag, want...

During the summer of 2004 I was one of 5 British people who went out to Africa with a 2,000 strong team of international volunteers to try and bring aid, help and hope. Our work included prison ministry, helping in orphanages, working in the hospices with people with HIV/Aids, children's work, door to door evangelism and working with the homeless.
