Steigenberger Hotel Linz

We arrived pretty late in Linz and just followed our GPS in the rental car to get to the hotel. When we arrived we were quite disappointed, it looked like the hotel was situated in an industrial area. It continued when we saw the hotel it looked like a huge bunker from outside, from the direction we came from.

We parked outside and went to the reception to check in. The receptionist was really sweet. We hurried up to our hotels rooms and dropped our stuff and had agreed upon meeting in the reception 10 minutes later, because we wanted to go out and eat. When we met after the 10 minutes we all agreed that we liked the rooms and especially the view we all had over The Donau. The style inside the hotel did absolutely not correspond with anticipation we all had after seeing the building from outside. Inside the old fashion Austrian woody style was kept.

The breakfast next day was great but there were no more sausages already from 8am. I promised to mention this from my friends. There were a lot of elderly people on bikes riding the Donau. They were up very early and I guess they all had been up and fill their pockets with sausages, so they could get energy for later that day.
