Awesome Hotel in Dresden, but also fairly expensive Jul 17, 2008
Just an all around awesome hotel if you're visiting Dresden, but be prepared to receive a nice tab upon leaving. Its within walking distance of everything, which includes the train station. Dresden is probably my favorite city in Germany outside of Heidelberg and even though I expect to spend less on hotels during my next trip, this is a amazing property. It's best feature is without a doubt its location as I was able to get practically everywhere in minutes and to boot I didn't feel threatened at all walking home in the evening. There are a couple of great restaurants just outside the door, which serve up some authentic German food. I don't recall the names, but I didn't have a bad meal anywhere in town.
