This quaint little hostel buried in the dunes steps from the beach was a great relaxing time. This hostel is fully equipped with bar and reserved dinners and breakfasts. The suites where clean, and the kids had tracked in sand that was cleaned immediately. April was a great time to book if you where looking for a quiet romantic time on the Island of Ameland but colder beach weather. The summer season can be very busy filling all 144 bed every night as indicated by the manager. So book early.

The hostel is near a pancake house that served of some scrumptious traditional Dutch pancakes in every flavor. For more restaurants you will have to travel to the town of Nes. There you can find pizzerias and other cuisine. All in All great Island experience.
