Well then! I just fell down the stairs in my packing panic, now i have a bruise the size of a pen-prick, but the swelling covers half my arm, and it hurts! So far everything seems good, I'm only missing one of my tickets.managed to get to the airport in time,  and of course i wasn't allowed to check in yet, since the computer system couldn't find the plane. but that just gave me enough time for my mother to drive home again and pick up my packed lunch :D (airport food is expensive, you kn...

Hi. This is just a quick update of our planning. We now have a website.  My brother put it together in a few days, for which i thank him very much.  The site is perfect for what we need. The address is....   www.loosechange4mali.com     Why loose change?. Well, I always have coins lying around the house and little pots of old holiday money that cant be changed at the bank.  I thought that people would be more willing to give us this rather...

Opäť sme si rozdelili úlohy chrapúňov. Zavčas rána nám vtrhla do chyže Lenka, ževraj je štvrť na 10. A fakt.

After many years travelling I thought it time to visit one of the UK's nearest neighbours Norway. Some what of a flying visit but a very enjoyable one at that and a welcome bit of respite from looking after our disabled little girl Victoria.

When we arrived in Stavanger there was a beach volleyball tournament in the port.  From the top of the ship you could see part of the court and the action.  At the time I watched twoo brazilian guys were playing.  I do not remember against whom. We went to several interesting places, there is a reconstructed iron age farm in Ullandhaug.  It consists of three wooden buildings with roofs made of peat and bark. The exterior walls were covered with stones to keep out the...

We took a boat from Newcastle to Stavanger for £6 per person. We only got to spend about 2 hours there, but what do you want for £6!!! We had a great time eating and drinking. The boat was very friendly and would recommend it for a cheap weekend break.
