There is some confusion over what this bar is called. I have found reviews on the internet that call it the 2060 bar, formerly Station Tavern, but there is a bloke on the street with a sign advertising The Station so I'm going to presume for the meantime it's called that.
The bar itself is booths and plush seating around a level-one carpeted room with lots of windows. There's obviously something of a regular crowd - the bar staff swapping greetings and banter with some of the surrounding tables, us included. Generally a relaxed place for those looking for a quick drink after work before heading home. They serve proper UK-sized pints, and do a lunch and dinner meal deal where you can get any main meal on the menu for $8 when bought with a drink. Food is good, and my friends eat here so often rather than cook that they've done the menu to death. Still it can't be bad if they keep coming back.
