1 / 1 TravBuddies found this review helpful Starr Pass Resort Nov 01, 2008 Value: Location: Cleanliness: Amenities: Bed: Bathroom & Shower: Service: Rooms were cute, beds were comfortable and if you are a golfer- this is your place. I don't golf, but I can say that the pool was very refreshing after a day in the heat of the desert. Keep in mind that this is a nice resort, but it is set back from the center of Tucson. Due to its Desert surroundings and the season, we did have 3 scorpions in our room during our stay (not uncommon in this area). Make sure to shake out your shoes before you put them on in the morning. Nice resort, nice atmosphere, peace and quiet in the deserts of Tucson. 	Not the Greatest Experience this Time . Jul 17, 2008 In the past this hotel was exceptionally clean, bright, with good food. In June of this year, the carpet in our room was very dirty and there was a foul odor coming from the pipes in the bathroom.
