Stanley Lagos Reviews
Stanley Indian Resto Apr 29, 2009
Tucked in an estate at Ilupeju is a quaint Indian restaurant named Stanley. From the outside, it is hard to believe that there is a restaurant that served delicious food because of its very simple façade. It is usually filled with people starting from the lunch crowd till the evening crowd. You can choose to be seated in the conventional dining table or you can ask to be seated at another area which is the ‘indian style’-meaning sitting cross legged because the table is low.
Every time we visit Stanley’s we are sure to order its chicken tandoori. It is always just right, succulent and juicy, never too dry. Buttered chiken, chicken varyani, and a concoction of cheeses (forgot the ‘real’ name, lolz) complete our gastronomic delight.
Since they would cook everything you have ordered then, it would take around 30 to 45 minutes before you can start eating, but at least all the food they served you is piping hot. Servings are just right, although I wished for the tandoori to be more, hahaah, it is because it is my favourite.
The staff are nice and the manager of the place is always pleasant, he would make sure everything is in place when you are there.
