Stanley Dock Dec 07, 2017
Stanley Dock is an inland dock and situated in Vauxhall, north of Liverpool City Centre. It is part of the northern dock system and links to Collingwood Dock and Leeds and Liverpool Canal via the Stanley Dock Branch, West and East respectively.

Jesse Hartley designed Stanley Dock and opened in 1847 and the warehouses are listed today including the gigantic tobacco warehouse, which Anthony George Lyster designed, and opened at the beginning of the 20th Century.

The warehouse on the northside has been redeveloped and now is the Titanic Hotel and is yet to be seen what will be done with it.
