Stanley Dock Branch Dec 07, 2017
The Leeds and Liverpool Canal's branch, designed by Jesse Hartley, was added in 1846 following the expanded railway disruption to the canal's original route to Old Hall Street and the Princes Dock area.

Stanley Dock Branch has four locks which links to Stanley Dock (with a massive disused Tobacco warehouse and the Titanic Hotel) and the Liverpool Link, via Collingwood Dock, towards the City Centre. Stanley Dock is and inland dock and part of the northern dock system.
