I am setting up this blog so that everyone can easily have updates of where we are and what adventures we are getting into. Hopefully we will be able to update this website on a regular basis from internet cafes while traveling. At Stanford, I just finished with classes and homework and have my exams over the next couple of days. Before going to CA, what were popular in CA in my mind were the sunshine, and tasty Sunkist oranges and fruits. It was the 1st time I left Hong Kong for that long, for having placement for 2 monthes in Redwood City and Stanford. I really enjoyed staying there, together with many precious memories in travelling to Yosemite, San Francisco and Las Vagas.

Here we are -- it's nine months after I first stepped foot in China. I have a steady mixture of excitement, anxiety, and nostalgia towards my departure this upcoming Saturday. As Beijing University is not a completely new world for me (I spent a good week there in total last summer), the raw excitement for a new world isn't in me.
