Unpretentious Luxury with Impeccable Service Jul 09, 2014
St Regis San Francisco is a luxury hotel conveniently located in the vibrant SoMA district. It allows you to walk to lots of attractions including the Market St, Ferry Building, Cable Car.

The property itself is very modern, spacious and clean, what else would you expect from St Regis? It's ranked as category 6 on Starwood hotel scale. Service is extremely nice, stuff is very attentive and helpful. They offer a Bentley Car service in the evening, which is a nice touch. My Bentley driver was very friendly and helpful.

The corner room I stayed at was clean and spacious with a great city overlook. Furniture was appointed just right. Bathroom was very nice with a big soaking tub, shower and nice size vanity.

Lobby bar is a good spot to chill while having a cocktail and snacks; Ame restaurant offers delicious food options and a good wine choice. Oh, and the service at Vitrine restaurant on the 4th floor is simply impeccable, so is food.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this property. It offers you luxurious amenities without snobbishness that often surround hotels of such class.

I am always in debate weather to stay at St Regis or Four Seasons while in San Francisco. I do think that Four Seasons service is a touch better, but being a Platinum Starwood member makes me lean towards St Regis.

Luxury City Center Hotel Oct 20, 2011
Amazing Hotel, modern with a fantastic atmosphere and very professional staff.

Location it’s just perfect, sfmoma next building and Market Street is 100m away. The view from the room was magnificent over the Yerba Buena Gardens and the St Patrick Church.

It’s a great hotel to explore the city if you like to enjoy an outstanding service, the lobby is always animated and being located on the ground floor directly on the street makes it more alive.

A nice glass of wine close to the chimney it’s a

The hotel is a little expensive but you won’t be disappointed, I will definitely return on my next trip to SF.

Classy San Francisco May 10, 2010
The St. Regis San Francisco is one of the nicest hotels on the west coast, AAA and Mobil would agree. The service staff are extremely friendly and helpful and continuously go out of their way to make you feel special. At check in, I was given a complimentary upgrade because the hotel was not completely booked and they had better rooms available. I didn't have the best view possible but it wasn't bad. The room obviously had top of the line electronics including a 42" plasma TV, another small LCD TV in the bathroom, three telephones (you get your own personal phone number upon check in so friends/clients don't have to call the hotel and be transferred), DVD player, and a bedside remote control that controlled lights, sound, and window shades. The room comes equipped with blackout window coverings that literally conceal every ounce of daylight (I slept way later than I wanted to because I thought it was still dark out, be sure to set a wake up call!). All St. Regis's have the Remede spa amenities that are top of the line. The shower was amazing; it had a shower head that came from the ceiling and it felt like rain. The gym was small but had all the equipment one would need (and free water and fruit). The indoor Remede pool was the perfect place to unwind. It was very modern-looking and had very comfortable lounges and beds. The concierge was extremely helpful in purchasing tickets to a soccer game at the 49ers stadium. She conveniently did all the work and had the tickets sent to our room, and even mapped out directions for us. She also recommended a nice seafood restaurant on the wharf and arranged the house car to take us there. Definitely find time to utilize their complimentary Audi S8 to take you around town. The driver was awesome, he let us take control of the sound system and got us to Pier 39 in no time. Much nicer than taking a taxi! Valet parking is outrageously expensive at $57 per night. Find street parking if available and you've just bought yourself dinner instead of a parking spot. Overall, this hotel comes highly recommended if you don't mind paying the extra buck!

I look forward to staying at the St Regis in San Francisco whenever I have a couple of spare nickels. My son goes to school in the city, so I travel there once or twice a semesters. Some times on the cheap, sometimes on the posh, and sometimes somewhere in between. This is definitely my favorite posh hotel in San Francisco.
