St. Petri Dom, Bremen, Germany Reviews
St. Petri Dom, Bremen, Germany May 28, 2015
We had a hard time finding places in Bremen, but we could see the large spires of the big churches. We lucked out and quickly found St. Petri...one of the churches I read about at home. Admission was free and a two euro fee each for walking up the 200 stairs (lots of cm's) to the top (me and my bad knees).
It was semi dark with triangle stairs and great they had a handrail. We walked for a very long time taking a sip occasionally from both water bottles. Only taking one real brake we walked to the very top then finished our water bottles. We had a high up view from the top with small windows with thick metal webbing over windows ruining my photos. (Bad carma for church having people jump from their spires.)
We walked down faster than going up and finally found the bottom. We went into the church and the inside was very nice. We finally had to leave in search of new water bottles.
