St Petersburg Subway Jan 29, 2009
We took the St Petersburg underground for 2 days went we were There to start our 2005 trip with the transsiberia railroad. Every station is like an art museum.(same a moscow) Almost every station is worth to visit. Once you get your map for the underground don't be surpriced, it's all in Cyrillic Name. So you won't be able to read it. We looked for it, but not could fined any english versions. Also at the stations all the signs are in Cyrillic. So it's pretty hard to find your way arround St Petersburg with the underground. The St Petersburg subway is the deepest in the world But at least we tryed and got to all the places we wanted to go!! Have fun.

TIP: Watch out for pick pockets on the underground, most af the times they are mother with there children!!! Be carefull
