St Pauls Bay Overview

St Paul's Bay is a town located on the North East coast of Malta, approximatley 15km from Valletta. This is traditionally one of Malta's largest summer resorts and can be split into four areas of contrasting ages and amenities, Bugibba, Qawra, Xemxija and the Old Town.

One of the prime tourist resorts of Malta, it is home to many large hotels and the sweeping coastal promenade. It holds a marina that is often flocked with boats, as well as many beaches (mostly rocky ledges or stone). It is also known as one of the best Scuba diving spots in all of Malta.

The area relies very heavily on tourists for income(like most of Malta today). In the off season the resort is much quieter, and not all tourist facilities (such as the diving) may be open. There are many cafes and dining locations across the bay.
