Dec 16, 2005I hunted high and low for a nice place to stay at short notice in Bath. I looked here at this Bath Hotels website, but had no joy and was about to give up when a hotelier I spoke to suggest I try St Leonards guest house. So I called them and they had a vacancy. It is the most gorgeous looking Victorian House set on a hilltop overlooking Bath and the Avon Valley and is run by Tony and Kelveen. Breakfast was lovely. The food was gorgeous with a choice of cereals, fresh juices followed by a full english breakfast of sausages egg bacon tomatoes and toast. The view of the Avon valley and the garden with Cedar trees added to the general relaxed ambience complimented by an assortment of mellow Jazz tunes. £80 per night, just a short cab ride from Bath city center.Very worth it too. I'd certainly go back there.
