St Leonards Hotel Bath Reviews
Dec 16, 2005
I hunted high and low for a nice place to stay at short notice in Bath. I looked here at thisBath Hotelswebsite, but had no joy and was about to give up when a hotelier I spoke to suggest I try St Leonards guest house. So I called them and they had a vacancy. It is the most gorgeous lookingVictorian House set on a hilltop overlooking Bath and the Avon Valley and isrun by Tony and Kelveen. The room I stayed in was at the top of the house and was very comfortable, the room was equipped with the standard tea and coffee making facilities and had a tv. No wifi or net conn but twas no big deal. I'm sure the proprieter would have let me use theirs had I asked or needed it even. The bathroom was very cool. It had this huge bath and was tastefully decorated. I was dead jealous as my bathroom is very small in comparison. Still, something to aspire to eh?
Breakfast was lovely. The food was gorgeous with a choice of cereals, fresh juices followed by a full english breakfast of sausages egg bacon tomatoes and toast. The view of the Avon valley and the garden with Cedar trees added to the general relaxed ambience complimented by an assortment of mellow Jazz tunes.
£80 per night, just a short cab ride from Bath city center.Very worth it too. I'd certainly go back there.
