St. Joseph the Worker Parish Chapel Victorias Reviews
Known for its mural of "The Angry Christ" Nov 11, 2012
St. Joseph the Worker is the parish church in Victorias Milling Company, the sugar central district of the city of Victorias, Negros Occidental.
It is home to a thriving community whose livelihood primarily is tied to the sugar industry, as the sugar mill is one of the largest in the world.
The church itself is located near the executive houses further down the main road (MJ Ossorio Avenue). At the church altar is a world famous mural known as the "Angry Christ", done by artist Alfonso Ossorio in the 1950s.
Near the church is a Carabao sundial which was fabricated at Don Bosco Technical Institure, through the efforts of DBTI Batch 1975.
