Cheap and very close Sep 13, 2008
I stayed at this hotel during the craziest shopping week in New York, early December. Hotels usually jack up their prices like no ones business during this time, luckily we found this small, simple, little hotel just a block away from times square and two away from fifth for a mere 200 dollars(plus taxes) a night. The best part about this place is the location, other than that it's actully not that nice of a hotel. Although the staff are extremely helpful, especially the Jewish man from Queen's. He was a real treat. This is a great hotel if you're looking to stay close to times square, without the outrageous prices. If the room itself doesn't matter to you, this is your best bet!
