St. Cloud, MN Saint Cloud Reviews

I lived in St. Cloud for about four years, and enjoyed the outdoor activities it has to offer. My favorite spots are the Quarry Park, and Munsinger / Clemens Garden.
Quarry park, (actually located in Waite Park) offers various seasonal activities including: hiking, cross-country skiing, hiking/biking trails, snowshoe trails, fishing, swimming, rock climbing (for those with appropriate Rock Climbing Permit) and scuba diving (for those that are certified and get a permit from the office). A day pass is around $4, but you can purchase a seasonal pass. The address is 1802 County Road 137;Waite Park, MN 56387. It's a little off the beaten path but well worth it!
Munsinger / Clemens Garden has around 20 areas next to the Mississippi River (right across the river from St. Cloud State University). They have several themed gardens within the main, including a Rose Garden and White Garden. It is a peaceful place for a walk or picnic. There is a gift shop that does offer small sack lunches :) The gardens are on Kilian Boulevard SE. , in St. Cloud. There is also a disk golf (Frisbee Golf) area!
Other local parks:Lake George Eastman Park, and Heritage Park and Nature Center.
My favorite places to eat include: Granite City Food and Brewery, Space Alien's Bar and Grill, Great Wall Buffet, and Mongos.
