So,  "we're off to see the wizard the wonderful wizard of oz" just kidding.  The long drive through Vancouver just to make it to highway 99 which would take us to Whistler was looooooooooooong, and stoplighty.  It's weird how in order to get to that highway that is the route.  I'm sure there will be an alternate route come 2010 when the Winter Olympics will be held in Vancouver.  Oh yeah we're going.. you gotta believe that.  On the "Sea to Sky" Highway (99)...

After snowboarding a couple more days at Whistler we started our trek back to sunny Califonia. We met a lot of cool people at that hostel it was quite fun.Towoards the beginning of our drive at the Canadian/US border there was a bit of some drama. Over the course of the entire trip my brother had been documenting the trip via a camcorder, Well the US border patrol did like that so they made us take EVERYTHING out of my truck and accused us of possibly being terrorist conspirators. Myself and a few girlfriends made the drive up to Whistler Village for a friend's birthday....and we had a blast. we make our own fun. This blog is just our silly pictures or us having fun....and man did we have ALOT of fun!!!

I took my parents on a trip to western Canada and Washington state since they always wanted to do something like that.

We had the best/cheapest hotel ever....the bed of my truck! I know, I know.....I'm the coolest person you know. I get that ALL the time.....

This weekend supposed to be sunny. So I got to a trip with Drew, and his old friends, Peter and JC for a shooting and picnic.First time ever (again) for myself touching a gun. Short gun and Rifle.I wish I can put  a video here, it was funny when I shot a short gun. I was kicked away by the gun, and also closed my eyes.Ahh,, so it is a closing eye shooting! Basically when I pull a trigger, I close my eyes.We did a skid?? Not sure how to spell it but it is a flying target.You won't believe...

Now that I've moved to Vancouver I have been trying to check out at much of this beautiful city as possible. Although there's been a fair bit of rain (no surprises there), just about everywhere you look you get a stunning view. Just lovely!

Vrijdag 16 juni Afgelopen nacht hebben we veel regen gehad, maar in de ochtend is het droog. We rijden om 8 uur van Ralph River Campground weg en 1 1/2 uur later zijn we weer aan het begin van Strathcona PP, Elk  Falls PP. Hier willen we de waterval nog zien , maar het begint ineens weer hard te regenen en we besluiten wijslijk om maar weer verder te gaan. We rijden 150 km tot aan Nanoima, waar we om 11.15 aankomen bij Departure Bay. De ferrie gaat om 12.30, dus mooi tijd om te lunchen....

Spent 3 weeks travelling around British Columbia in the summer of 2003. Vancouver was lovely and Vancouver Island was great.
