We took our leadership challenge kids to help out in a soup kitchen in Springfield for the day. It was a real eye opener, a lot of these people were desperate, but the soup kitchen rules were that no one was to have more than one portion. We ending up having to throw quite a lot of food away and we felt very guilty about doing it. Whilst we were there we got to sample the delights of springfield which to be honest weren't that delightful we did although get to see the Dr Zeuss memorial garden.

I took a month off from work in Boston and decided to drive to Los Angeles on a whim. Not one hotel room, and only four proper showers all month!
