Spoorweg museum Utrecht Reviews
Train museum Mar 13, 2011
It was a nice museum with beautiful trains, shows and a small 'roller coaster' ride. The train station is kept in the way it was built, so it was pretty to see! There is also a small tour about when they started to make steam trains and you can try to ride a train in a simulation.
What wasn't good, was that there were no signs with information about the trains. I was happy my dad knew much about some trains, but if you don't, then it's just nice to look at the trains, but without the information.
Don't go in the school holidays from Holland, then there are to much people. When we wanted to eat, the room was full of people. And when we wanted to do a small tour, it's also to crowded.
You can go to this museum by car and train. The Maliebaan train station belongs now to the museum. The information about the train station I think is interesting too.
