Spinnaker Tower
Spinnaker Tower Reviews

The Spinnaker Tower, a modern design tower 170m high, is located just on the water front and can be seen from anywhere all around Portsmouth.
I paid £5.60 to go up to the tower. The weather could not have been sunnier and clearer; the view on the harbour was really nice and amazing as the perspective is really unique! There are 3 levels. The highest viewing platform is at 110m. On the first platform, you can go across a glass floor and it is quite impressive (well, I am scared of high so...). I really enjoyed the views from the Tower, even if the 3 levels are not offering something so different. I think it is rather expensive compared to the time I spent in the attraction, but for a unique view of the area, I think it is worth to pay. There is, at the bottom, a nice terrace and a café to enjoy longer a view on the sea. The access is open to anyone and not only for those who went up to the tower. Part of the England travel blog |

What a nice day! Even if I was tired, I could not stay at home with such a beautiful weather, and I am so sick of the area where I am currently living... There are a lot of other things to do such as museums, but I was really lazy today and I prefered just to chill and relax again!
It was rather full of life but not too much… Strolling at the Water Front |

So in the end maybe it’s as simple and gentle as that. A pleasant bowl of luscious pasta with mince, olives and smoked applewood cheese knocked together by my sis. A few final photos accompanied by assurances and promises to catch up w…Spinnaker Tower, the various amusement parks and old city-port walls that line the coast. England begins gently to recede into the background, into the night. I phone a friend to tell her I’ve left England, where she lives but I no longer… Portsmouth : In the beginning there is often a farewell. |

October 5After a long crossing, by early dawn we saw the lights of England... but it would take still hours before we reached and sun would rise by the time that we dock. The sun started rising while we passed next to the Isle of Wight and entering …Spinnaker tower. The new regeneration going on in Gunwharf was a thrill for a young town planner like me, and it was a concrete realisation of most of what I studied in books and supported as the future of my profession. So I was really… By the British Dockyard |
