Spido Boat Tour
Spido Boat Tour Reviews

The only way to see the harbour of Rotterdam is to go for a cruise on the Spido boat. We could not really miss that, as it is one of the largest ports in the world...
The cruise lasts around 1h15. All along, they give a lot of information about the city (buildings, architecture…) and the harbour, with history, numbers, how it works… It is quite interesting; even if I found that at one point the view starts to be a bit too repetitive (boxes, containers…). It is nice to have a view of the harbour with its docks and platforms, but also a nice view of the city from the canal! Tickets are sold underneath Erasmus Bridge, next to the place where you can load. There are different tours possible. We chose the simplest one, around the harbour only, for 9€ each. I had about 4 hours sleep and then had a flight to London to meet Suzie. I met Suzie in the restaurant and I wasn’t in a good way, I’m not going out drinking like that before a flight again. Suzie managed to get the seat next to me on the plane …… Rotterdam via London (to catch up with Suzie) |
