Luxury at the Beach Apr 10, 2009
The Inn of the Spanish Garden is a lovely boutique style hotel in Santa Barbara, California. Santa Barbara is a beautiful coastal community in Ventura County (Southern California). It is a spectacular tourist destination and a nice place to take friends when they visit. Even though I am from So Cal, Santa Barbara is a nice getaway destination when you are short on time, especially if you enjoy visiting vineyards and doing some wine-tasting. You can also visit the SB Mission and the SB Museum of Art, go horseback riding or just walk around and do a little shopping.
The Inn of the Spanish Garden is located in Downtown Santa Barbara, but not on the beach. The hotel has a Spanish-Mediterranean inspired design which is very relaxing. The service was outstanding and the rooms are inviting, very comfortable. It can be pricey, but is nice for special occasions. Ask for a second floor room.

Very nice hotel. The breakfast was really good, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
