Spamalot London Reviews
Hilarious! Must see for Monty Python fans. Jul 03, 2008
A really good time. This is a musical written by Eric Idle, currently showing at the Palace theatre. The show takes a lot from various MP skits and movies, mostly 'Holy Grail,' and sort of extends on the story a bit. It was wonderful seeing a lot of everyone's favorite sketches live and in person! My favorite was 'The Song That Goes Like This' and a reprise of 'Always Look On the Bright Side of Life' from 'Life of Brian' but there were so many hilarious moments in this show that had the whole audience laughing out loud.
We bought a dinner/theatre package from Londontown.com and ended up paying £22.50/person for a 2 course meal at Planet Hollywood and balcony seats. The balcony isn't the best place to sit, obviously that's why its the cheapest (seats at £20), but the show is good from any vantage point so save your money if you need to.
