Spa Nałęchów Reviews
A good place to relax! Mar 23, 2008
I've been to plenty of spas, but never to one in Poland and never in a mud bath. There are springs around Nałęchów with minerals that are supposed to be good for people's health. A popular brand of mineral water also comes from these springs. The spa is located in a large park-like setting with a little lake and gardens. The park is surrounded by buildings housing clinics and hotels.
The spa is located in a the middle of the park. It offers a number of services and treatments like different types of massage, sauna, turkish baths, etc. When you check in, you are given a towel and a key for a little locker to keep your clothes in. Then it's off to get changed and into the water. This is a fun and relaxing way to spend a couple hours. We went into their large hot pool, jacuzzi and the steam room and then headed for the hot mud bath. Everything was really clean and well-kept and the staff on duty was very friendly. Some also speak English.
If you've been doing a lot of walking, it's a great way to relieve sore muscles. You can only stay in the hot mud, a kind of white clay, for about 20 minutes or it will dry your skin too much, but it's amazingly relaxing. You can't hardly sink into it, and I nearly fell asleep floating there. Just be careful not to get the mud into your eyes, like I did (it's extremely uncomfortable!)
I recommend this experience which cost about 14 Euros. It was a fun, relaxing way to spend a couple hours!
