Southwest Diner
Southwest Diner Reviews
Food good, service not great. Sep 21, 2009
The Southwest Diner is on the main road in Boulder City. We stopped here for dinner while camping at Lake Mead.
It's very nicely decorated with lots of old looking stuff mounted on the walls. We were seated by a very friendly waitress. It wasn't very busy so service was fast. We all ordered a different sandwich. I think I had The Westerner with a cucumber salad on the side. This is also the first time I came across the curious use of jars as drinking vessels. Strange but fun. The food was very good. The cucumber salad came in a small jar and it was to die for. I'm not sure what was in it but I'm guessing some sort of mayo and a hint of garlic. After we finished our meal our waitress was quick to clean our plates away. It had started to fill up a little by now and we waited almost 20 minutes to pay the bill.
