Sigiriya is an archeological site in Central  Sri Lanka. It contains the ruins of an ancient palace complex, built during the reign of King Kasyapa (477 – 495 AD). It was a strange start to my birthday: waking up on a bench in the arrivals hall in Colombo airport, where we'd stopped to get around four hours' sleep before the first bus of the morning. Amazing places

Over the past couple of years I have travelled a lot and I have taken many pictures from all over the world. As I do not have time to write blogs I decided to post a selected range of pictures here. up-date will be done not regurarly but from time to time. Please note some pictures have not the best quality as older (1997 - 2000)ones are basically scanned negatives. Should I mixed up any place or so please let me know.
