We left Seoul early in the morning from the Express Bus Terminal on the "Exellent Bus" to Sokcho. The ride took about 4 hours and it included one 15minute bathroom break during which 2 passengers were left behind.
Once we got to Sokcho, we crossed the street and took the 7 (or we could have taken the 7-1) to the Seoraksan. The national park is the last stop on either bus.

Not once, but twice now I have visited this awesome island. Both times myself and friends have travelled the island in style on the seat of a motor scooter. You can't imagine the freedom that this can give you. Letting you choose your own schedule, not the bus schedule. Allowing you the choice of pulling over at the side of the road and jumping in for that first ever swim in the ocean. It was probably one of the most memorable vacations I have had so far and won't soon forget it.

This is where I was supposed to go. It is a walkable distance from the Dongincheon subway station. But I guess if I'm going to miss something on this trip this boat was the best thing to miss. It would be really horrible to miss a train in China or an international flight.
By missing this boat I had another great weekend in Korea and I have another great reason for all my friends to tease me.
But seriously, I'm usually on time for most things. I don't know how this happened. ...

I arrived in Seoul after a 14 1/2 hours flight. This is my first time using Korean Air. I loved it. One of the best landing in my 3 years of travel yet. The entertainment system was awesome; on demand videos. The food on business class was superb. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Traveling back to Korea was another chance to get some more Korean BBQ I was never so happy to enter the place again. Even though I knew I was only going to be in Chinae for two days I was going to make the best of it. We had to stay out in town at the Hole in one hotel our guide told us it was the best hotel in Chinae. I believe that hotel was a love hotel if you know what I mean. My co-worker had a coin operated round bed lol. Mine was just a regular coin...

A destination I would never have dreamt of going...
Not because it doesnt seem like a travel destination for an avid outdoor person, but more so theres other places id prefer to holiday at first. eg Rio, bora bora!
However im one of those lucky ones that has a job that pays me to travel as long as I deal with the crap from the clients!

Seoul was a lot of fun. Lots of people, lots of construction. Its a big city and growing. Went to a comedy/martial arts show called Jump. It was great, I recommend seeing it if you are in the area.
