21 years ago I finished up at Kinleith and shot around the South Island. A flying trip to see friends (and the country) before I was to go Police College for 6 months as a recruit. I was 20 years old. I had a 911 Porsche and 10 days off before I was to start my new career.Life was…

By campervan we explored the south and the north island of New Zealand. The south part was really great. Breathtaking nature and scenery!! What a beautiful country. Rafting in Queenstown, riding a horse at the former set of Lord of the Rings, Being dropped of by helicopter on top of the Frans Joseph Glacier, cruising the Milford Sound, watching the Dusky Dolphins, riding a quad through rough terrain and lots more!!

The second country of the big trip I was (am at the moment) making with my parents and brother.
Unfortunately our summer is their winter..and that became pretty obvious, it was raining a lot and we had to wear our winter clothes, because of the cold.. But we visited several friends and did a lot of sight seeing (the maori's, geyers) did some quad biking and seen a lot of the beautiful nature..

Don't exactly travel overseas alot, actually never (unless you count my move to Aussie from N.Z?). Moved to Australia from N.Z in 2005 and have lived here ever since! Great weather, people, lifestyle. Have to put up with the occasional sheep joke, but I have learnt how to give back just as good! :)
I have posted some photos in this blog of some favourite spots in New Zealand (South Island)

In November 2006 I travelled to the southern hemisphere to live and work in New Zealand and Australia for twelve months. I was in Australia for about two months, and for the rest of the year I lived in New Zealand. I had the opportunity to travel back across the tasman sea three times for short breaks when I was able to get time off work. It was a really good experience to live on the other side of the world for one year.

Last november I went home for 2 weeks. It was a great trip as I got to see the 2 new editions to the family Cerys and Joesph, my sisters twins. I also got to swim with dolphins and go whale watching, things that I never did while living at home. Anyway I had great weather and it was fantastic to see my family. My mother had her birthday while i was out there which was nice to be apart of. So until next time
