South Burlington, while it is its own city, it could easily considered the southern suburb of the larger city of Burlington.

South Burlington has many areas that are reminiscent of your typical suburbia, homes in neat little rows, 2.5 children and a golden retriever or lab of some sort.

South Burlington has many nice hotels and restaurants, lots of shopping and a venue for live music and other acts of this type. It is a very central location, with easy interstate access if one was planning to travel around Vermont and was looking for a central area to stay.
