Soppong River Inn Guesthouse.

The Soppong River Inn Guesthouse has only 6 rooms. All are different and they are set around the gardens and deck, so you can always be assured of quiet and some private space if you wish. The room styles are unique and constructed using traditional and natural materials. All comfort you find in your room, like a kingsize bed with 100% cotton sheets, ensuite bathroom with gas hot water and toilet(even toilet paper), towels(clean one's every day), mini bar, fan, musquitonetting, seats and a balcony with chairs and a great view over the river beneath you.
The Seven Elephants Cafe offers a surprising menu for such a small village as Soppong. The menu includes both western and Southeast Asian dishes that offer variety to almost any taste. And most important for myself, the cafe has the only espresso machine located between Pai and Mea Hong Son. And if your longing for a cocktail, try the Thaijito with fresh mint. Yummie!!

We had a wonderfull time in the Soppong River Inn. Showering in the open air is a new experience but you feel closer to nature.
If you like bird watching, it's the place to be. I never saw so many Icebirds in one place. Only one minus, many big spiders, altrought they seems to be harmeless!
