Healdsburg and Winsor are located in Northern California. Healdsburg is surrounded by fine wineries including Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, etc Healdsburg is the spot to discover and taste the best of Sonoma County wine.
Healdsburg offers fine dining, art galleries, bed and breakfast, bookstores and shopping. The town and wineries are perfect if you are looking to get away from the more commercialized Napa Valley wineries.

WOW!! we really enjoy this trip. Must get the Cold pass if you can.
Located just 30 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, the 1,600-acre facility serves as the gateway to the beautiful Sonoma Wine Country.

It seems the friends made in Alaska always lead to yet more good times. Last summer a fellow KBLer (that's Kenai Backcountry Lodge), Emily, was fortunate enough to have her parents for a visit. They are from Sonoma, California, and, upon hearing of my travel northward from San Francisco, were very …

I thought I owe it to myself to do a blog of where I live since I live in my beautiful city by the bay, San Francisco, and all the wonderful places that are close by. My boyfriend was in town visiting me over the holidays, so I did my best playing tour guide. I tend to take it for granted that I live in such a great place. Hopefully, these pictures will always be a reminder of just how lucky I am to live here.

After three months living in Seattle I had to drive to Oklahoma for my next Army School. I took the coast of California cut across near San Fran, went down into Arizona, then straight to OK. All in all I had a blast, and was just on my own so there was no clock!
