Sonny's

Well the American dollar does not go very far these days in Europe. I decided to try to do Ireland in the cheap. One thing I found out is that if you order your dinner while you are having a pint (which you were gonna drink anyway), a pub is a reasonable alternative to a restaurant. Sonny's in Galway fits the bill (so to speak). The pub is located in the old town of Galway. It is a very traditional looking pub but quite large. A nice mix of people in and out. Their pub menu has some nice local tasty dishes at very reasonable prices. I had the Irish Lamb Stew which was only 10€. The food was good amd the servings large. I loved the atmosphere at this pub as well.
