Some General Weather Advice! Reviews

Jun 14, 2007
So...as all of you may think...sunny California. Not alays the case with San Francisco. As Mark Twain said "The coldest winter I ever spent was a SUMMER in San Francisco." Well to say the least, he wasnt completly wrong. We have what we call the June Gloom. So..Bring sweaters. It doesnt get too cold, but still it is a bit chilly. Also we have the mystic fog, which is actually quite wonderful to see roll in. Half of the city could be beautiful and sunny, while the other cold and damp. I know it sounds hard to believe but it does happen. The best weather here at the city by the bay is during the Indian Summers. This is from end of July till mid October. You still need a light coat at night, but during the day it is wonderful.
So for all of you coming to visit, dont bring shorts in June!
I hope this could help some, and I hope that you still enjoy this wonderful city!
