mexican food done German style - Resto II Jun 27, 2008
Even though the restaurant has a mexican name, the menu is mainly German. It does have the typical "Entradas" like Buffolo Wings, Chilli Poppers, but all the food is typically bought at a wholesale store and popped into a deep fryer. Same with the Schnitzel, deep fried as well and the fries could have used some mexican sun, they were very pale.

I had the 3 amigos and it was the same as in the last restaurant - 2 WHEAT tortillas rolled up and stuffed with Chili con Carne, Chicken and Mexican vegetables (zucchini, peppers) and baked with cheese - nothing spectacular. It was not bad, but for €12,90 I expected a little bit more and for once - I would really love to have a CORN enchilada with enchilada sauce, when I order an enchilada. The food was plenty though and very filling.

The waitress was outside.

Good Mexican or TexMex is difficult to find in Frankfurt. We used to have to go to the Chi-Chi's chain at the old Abrams complex.
