We found Solares del Sol to be expensive, and relatively poor value. The staff was a mixed bag: some helpful, some decidedly not helpful and not flexible. Although the grounds and view were nice, the apartments were musty and the location too far from town. El Calafate town is cute; my recommendation would be to avoid this place and choose someplace close to town instead.
