Soho, can be expensive but a great night!! Nov 08, 2011
If your looking for a cracking night out in london, i can highly recomend taking on soho! it can be expensive, and some places will have a dress code! But some amazing bars and clubs, comedy clubs - its got it all!

You never know who you'll bump into around there, can be a place visited by certain celebs on a Saturday night!

For a good club I'd say head to Cafe de Paris, great place to go! They often have guest list only parties though so check it out before you head there.

London Nightlife Mar 26, 2011
There's not much that can be added to experience that is London nightlife except to say, there's so much of it that you won't be bored. I make regular trips to the city to cruise from pub to pub and from night club to night club and the multicultural multinational collage of people brings the experience to a fore and you dance the night away into the morning and wonder why you never visited this city sooner than you did yesterday.

Hurry up and come to London!

The London night life is an extremely diverse and cosmopolitan scene. There are literally 100's of clubs offering every possible genre imagineable from the 80's (Clapham Grand), House, Funk, Drum 'N' Bass, Rock, Indie, Garage, RnB, Hip Hop and so forth. Leicester Sq & Piccadilly Circus has an oasis of clubs, but these are extremely pricey and over-rated, and frequently full of tourists!! Fabric & Ministry of Sound and The End are the quintessential 'dance' clubs (but there are loads of smaller and less commercial ones, you just have to look out for flyers and websites). If you want to go 'celebrity spotting' (and pay a fortune) Browns, Turnmills, and Stringfellows are the most likely sightings.

The best areas to go are around Soho, which is a mecca of bars/clubs and restaurants that spill into the streets and leads into China Town and the theatre district along with up and coming side of town (East) which has had major re-development and is extremely popular with a young vibe. Out of town areas that are worth checking out are Wimbledon, Putney, Richmond and Clapham in South West London, while Ealing and Acton are quite popular in the West.
