Sofitel Maeva Beach

The Maeva Beach hotel is well located, a few kilometers away from the Papeete international airport, in the city of FAAA.

The rooms are small but beautiful. With a LCD television and an extra large bed (2m), you get all the equipment for your stay. There's a terrace (with chairs) giving a beautiful view either on the mountains or on the tahitian lagoon.

Wired Internet is free but very slow unfortunately. The satellite television offers a few french channels like Tempo, LCI or M6, and CNN as only english program.

There's also a beautiful swimming pool with a view on the lagoon. The hotel is one of the rare to get it's own private beach of the island (with white sand). This beach is good spot for swimming and scuba diving (be carefull with Stone fish). Outdoor, you'll also find a tennis course or a small Golf practice.

One of the inconvenients of the hotel is the restaurant because of its huge prices...
