This hotel is located just minutes away from the pyramids of Giza. It's roughly 45-50 minutes away from the airport depending on traffic.

You can see the pyramids looming in the background depending on the room you get and the balcony or patio view. I had the garden view so all I saw were the peaks of the pyramids. Part of the hotel obstructed the rest of the view of the pyramids from the balcony. My room was nice, clean, and LARGE...particularly for me as a single traveler. The bed was SO comfortable! More comfortable than my bed at home. I LOVED IT! I slept gooooooood every night I was there! I wish I could take that bed home with me. The air conditioning felt great. I had to turn it off a couple of times because it would get too cold. The bathroom was clean. I had my reservations about the water from the showerhead staying at a constant temperature. It would alternate from ice-cold to searing hot now and again.

The rest of the hotel looked nice. They have a very nice-looking lobby that is so spacious and decorative. They have a small bank so you can conveniently exchange money. There is a tiny gift shop there, but as you walk towards one side of the hotel, there is a place where they sell apparel-type souvenirs (hats, t-shirts, scarfs, etc.). Next to this shop is another shop selling other souvenir-related stuff.

There is a very nice-sized swimming pool so if you are itching for a dip in the pool, it's right there.

They have a snack shop there were you can order any kind of drinks (to include boos), and small meals (pizza, club sandwiches with fries, pasta, salads, desserts, etc.). They can send it up to your room if you like, or you can eat it right there by the lobby area.

The breakfast comes as a buffet and depending on the your reservation through this hotel, it may or may not be included in the room price. I had to pay extra for breakfast since it wasn't included in my room price. They have different types of bread, cold-cuts, yogurt, juices, fruits, etc. There is a chef that can make you eggs, omelets, etc., should you require it.

The concierge can arrange for all kinds of tours and transportation arrangements for you.

They have bars to suit your nightlife needs should you desire it.

The staff is very kind and courteous, and I didn't have a problem with them at all.

There is a security checkpoint at the main entrance for obvious reasons. It's manned by hotel security and/or local police.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. I know I would go back...mainly to sleep in those very comfortable beds! LOL!
