Snuffel Backpacker Hostel

I found this hostel to be great! The location is close within walking distance to everything in the main square. They conveniently have a bike rental store that you can book through the hostel and provide you with maps. There is a bar on the main floor of the hostel which is great to meet other travelers as well as locals. They also have a happy hour which is good and cheap. I had a bit of a hard time finding the hostel but that's because I walked from the train station and got out of the wrong exit.. The rooms are fairly big and comfortable. The main downside would be that there aren't many washrooms and to shower you have to pass through the main floor and patio in order to go upstairs.... Overall great hostel though and very friendly!

I found DE SNUFFEL to be a great hostel that met all my needs (a place to put my stuff, and a bed). However, I would not say this is a "family friendly" hostel. Great for the average backpacker, a bar is conveniently located on the bottom floor. If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs, as people are partying 24/7. Overall, a great place to meet people, whether travelling solo or with friends. On another note: If you are taking the city bus to get to the hostel make sure you notify the driver of your destination to avoid a three hour bus ride :o/

Nice hostel in central Bruges. Good atmosphere and relatively cheap. Very firendly staff. Showers and bathrooms are quite far away from the beds, you need to go to a different buidiling next to the doors, it didn´t bother me so much but it might for others. I hope u enjoy your stay in Bruges ;)
