Snooze Denver Reviews
Breakfast at its finest Apr 17, 2010
Ask any Denver dweller where to find the best breakfast, and I almost guarantee they will answer Snooze (at least those who know anything about the Denver scene). Rightly so... Snooze is a 5 points tradition for the downtown crowd, the morning after crowd, and business people alike. Big helpings of fun spins on traditional breakfast fare make Snooze a must stop if you are in the city.
Breakfast and lunch are crafted from scratch using natural and high quality ingredients. The restaurant is small, but it does not lack character. The place is filled with energy and retro style. You will have to wait in line. Of this I can guarantee. Wait times stretch from one to three hours on the weekends. Though this may seem asinine, I absolutely guarantee the food is worth the wait (well maybe not three hours, but an hour? For sure).
My favorites on the menu are the breakfast tacos and the sweet potato pancakes. Snooze is known for their hollandaise sauce and fun plays on traditional eggs Benedict. From the quality of savory goodness of the meals I have enjoyed, I would imagine everything on the menu is sensational. Lunch is also offered, but I can't imagine ordering anything other than breakfast.
Many vegetarian and gluten free options are available. The plates are generous for very reasonable prices.
The restaurant is located in a great historic neighborhood in Denver. The five points area has recently been somewhat revamped! Just a few blocks away from LoDo and Coors Field, the neighborhood has charm and character galore.
Don't let the wait deter you. The food is absolutely sensational! Snooze is not a place to be missed when visiting the mile high city.
