Good value for clean, functional & friendly place just out of town Nov 20, 2009 Value: Location: Cleanliness: Amenities: Bed: Bathroom & Shower: Service: We (a couple) stayed three nights during September 2009. Located about 2-3kms away from the city centre on the "main" road (it is one lane each way with v little traffic). It is a fairly pleasant flat walk into town. The best part of the hotel was the staff who were all exceptionally friendly and accommodating (no pun intended). We found it to be good value for a fairly modern, clean and problem free room not too far away from the action. Compared to the prices we saw for the city centre hotels, we definitely felt it was worth the slight inconvenience. This place is no frills, ie no pool (weird pond though), gym etc so if you want luxury then this is not the place for you. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.
