The sister exhibition of the world renowned Cullen Hall of Gems and Minerals, the Smith Gem vault is an amazing array of some of the largest, highest quality cut gemstones in the U.S. The vault that houses the collection is in complete darkness, but the stones themselves are spectacularly lit. The effect is breathtaking.

If I thought the distance between gates for the flight into Vegas was bad...this was worse. If you take a map of IAH airport and go from the gate in the far upper left corner (ie. C16) and look down to the furthest gate possible from ther…… It is possible...there are further gates from each other than my flight out... |
