Smederevo je idealno da idete popit kavu i pobjec iz Beograda. Na sat udaljenosti, pored Dunava koji je tu sirok i ravan, pa kud ces bolje :)Procitavsi gomilu narodnih pjesama o prokletoj Jerini, imala sam u glavi sliku nekog utvrdjenog grada, ali u sustini nisam uopste bila pripremljen ana Smedere…

Smederevo is 50km from Belgrade on the right bank of Danube.You can drive to Belgrade by highway, but I suggest to take the provincial road next to the Danube. Enjoy the hills with the wine yards and around every corner you see the Danube in a different perspective.
Founder of the city was the Serbian prince Đurađ Branković in the 15th century, who built the Smederevo Fortress in 1430 as new Serbian capital.
