Location, location, location! Jun 09, 2011
Finding quality hostels in London is not always an easy task! Specially not if you are on a budget. However, Smart Hyde Park Inn manages this quite well in my humble oppinion.

The location is (as the name gives away), near Hyde park, which makes for a great platform for seeing the city. You are near subway, restaurants and in a safe neighbourhood!

The hostel is rather on the small side, and can be a tad tricky to find, but its well worth it. Bunk beds are average of quality and so is the bathroom. However, with the low price you are paying, you couldnt expect more.

For the traveler on a budget, who likes location and having extra money to spend the city I would warmly recommend this place.

Affordable good location Apr 25, 2011
It's a fairly basic hostel but the only great thing is the location, everything else is just kind of average (depending on what you're used to, of course). If you're really tall the beds might not fit you and they're equipped with a curtain to give you a bit of privacy. I thought the place quite noisy but to some that's a chance of socialising. Overall, the place is just average but if you're planning to spend your time away from the inn anyway, it's a fabulous location (next to Hyde Park and Bayswater tube station), affordable, no 'curfew' and they're very flexible concerning arrival times.
