Good atmosphere Apr 18, 2013
It's a place easy to get walking from the center. Public transports can be found 5 min walking from the hostel. The hostel is located in a calm neighborhood, close by the cementery where Hans Chirstian Anderson grave is.

The things I enjoyed more about this hostel was the bar area where they had good prices for drinks (comparing with every other place I've been to in the city) and a special happy hour for cheap drinks.

In the near by it can be found a few restaurants and veryyyy nice coffee places where they have fantastic cakes (yuummy).

The hostel was more than I expected from the reviews though I was still pleasantly surprised. The location is not in the best area but still pretty close to a metro and a bus stop to go to the center.

I stayed in a room with 3 bunks and the beds were alright. After a long day sightseeing, it's a great place to come home to. There are also lockers in the rooms that require your swipe card to enter which is very nice to have. They are pretty big too so that was a bonus.

The showers were nice, the water wasn't always hot but a good enough temperature to not be uncomfortable and the washrooms were a good condition too.

I don't have anything bad to say about the hostel expect for the location: It could be a bit scary to be travelling alone at night back to the hostel but Copenhagen is a very safe city. It's mostly in the mind.

Also, I got lost a bit before finding the hostel but if you go into the street before the church and turn left and keep heading straight, you will find it. The signs are not highly visible.

Decent hostel. Pretty close to the city center. 1,6,9,13 person rooms. I got the 9 person room, 3 bunks of 3. Only 4 showers and 3 toilets for the small hostel but I never had a problem with toilets or showers. Have been complaints about cold water during showers, but I showered at about 9am each morning or in the evening and never had a problem.

Wireless internet and a young atmosphere. Everyone congregated to the main area where you could easily meet the fellow traveler.

In a shady back alley but that was the only drawback. And expensive breakfast (40 kr) for not much.
