Overall good experience Dec 27, 2015
So i visited this hostel in December 2015, my first solo trip to another country. The lady at reception was very helpful and friendly. The kitchen staff were very friendly too eventhough they could barely speak english. The hostel is in a very good location, only about a 5min walk from Grand Place. I find that the hostel lacks entertainment areas, no place for visitors to really socialize apart from the lobby. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm room with a twin shower. One of the showers drain was blocked. It was a little annoying that there was nowhere to hang your towel in the bathroom while you shower, surely hanging a few hooks cannot cost too much?

Overall I did enjoy my stay as i met a few cool people, bed was comfortable and wifi always worked great.

Hostel? Or Hotel? Still not sure Sep 08, 2009
Sleep Well appeared to me to be part hostel and part hotel. I had found the place online through one of the hostel sites, either hostels.com or hostelworld.com. I can’t recall which at the moment. I had booked a single room in the hostel. When I got there they had me in a private room in the hotel part of the complex. If it’s not actually a “hotel” I’ll call it that for the sake of simplicity. My room felt more like a hospital room than a hotel. No worries, it was a place to rest my head. I pulled out my confirmation email and noticed the difference between what I thought I had booked and what they charged me. According to what I had booked this place had charged me about €11 too much. I ended up getting my €11 refunded to me even though the correct price was charged for the particular room I was in. Not a bad deal.

The room itself was kind of ugly and not very welcoming. Old curtains, a hard floor that might’ve just been painted concrete, a small single bed, and a small TV that felt like it was 100 feet from the bed. It reminded me very much of a hospital room.

It had a restaurant that I never visited and a lounge with a pool table, ping pong, a few computers, some chairs, and wi-fi. They charged for access to their Wifi, which is unique among the places I’ve been throughout my trip. €1.50 for 30 minutes, which is a total ripoff in my estimation.

It did have a decent location, which was a 20 minute walk or so from Grand Place. It was near an outdoor mall kind of place and it was everything I needed for my short stay in Brussels.

great Sep 23, 2009
Stayed in a 6 bed female dormitory. Good, clean and spacious room. Location excellent only a 10 minutes walk from the Bruxelles Nord station. Would definitely recommend Slepp Well.
