Skylon Hotel Dublin - Reviews and Deals - Dublin

I've stayed in literally dozens of hotels in Ireland and the standards of service, hygiene and food had really improved by leaps and bounds. There are many establishments that I would recommend at the drop of a hat.... but this certainly aint one of them. Packed with drunken revellers and bored children. The rooms were VERY basic and there were several errors with my booking - one resulted in a micro extra bed being offered to be added to my nano room! The food was so good we ate across the road in a restaurant and when I asked to speak to a managerial person on departure I was given a phone number, a complaint / comment sheet and told the manager was out for lunch (Good move, given the culinary output I'd experienced.)! No feedback from the manager will NEVER stay in another McEniff hotel again. I honestly suggest you don't do so either... there is so much quality out there now, you deserve better.
